[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This year, Ferrari Fashion School presents its highly anticipated Showcase titled “Esperia 024”. The event will take place on June 7th in the majestic halls of Palazzo Serbelloni in Milan, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.<\/p>\n
Additionally, on June 6th, also at Palazzo Serbelloni<\/a>, the end-of-year fashion show will be held, an exclusive event dedicated to the internal community of Ferrari Fashion School. This special day will be an opportunity to celebrate the work of third-year Fashion Design students, showcasing some of the pieces from their collections on the runway.<\/p>\n The Showcase, which represents a tribute to Italian savoir-faire, will feature the artistic interpretations of the academy’s young designers. The emerging talents of the school have reinterpreted and reshaped the artistic influences of the Bel Paese, creating works that reflect a current and contemporary trend.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The theme chosen for this year is \u201cEsperia,\u201d a term derived from \u201cHesperia,\u201d a word that in ancient Greece referred to the Italian peninsula as the western land in the direction indicated by Venus, the “Star of Hope.” The intent of this theme is to celebrate the excellent Italian savoir-faire in the creative, artisanal, and artistic fields. New talents are encouraged to discover and reinterpret the heritage of skills and technical knowledge, adopting an unconventional approach to design, communication, and marketing in fashion.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The students of Ferrari Fashion School embraced the theme “Esperia” by creating innovative projects in various disciplines within the sector. The designers revived traditional techniques such as mosaics, lace, inlays, weaving, and appliqu\u00e9, along with carpentry, metallic embroidery, and laser cuts. This allowed them to freely express their creative identity, promoting a responsible and circular approach through eco-design, recovery, and recycling practices.<\/p>\n The styling and communication students employed manipulation techniques typical of costume design for cinema and theater to create fresh and exclusive visual narratives. The fashion business students collaborated with an Italian leading cosmetic company, certified B-corp, which has created a sustainability ecosystem. Together, they developed marketing strategies that emphasize the company\u2019s regenerative approach. Additionally, they participated in a project with the Poldi Pezzoli Museum, developing ironic social media campaigns, aided by AI, to engage a younger audience with the museum’s magnificent collection of masterpieces.<\/p>\n Numerous textile companies and artisans have collaborated with the students to create their masterpieces. Among these are Archetipo Tessuti, Artemisia Bio, Bottonificio Lenzi 1955, and many others. Bonaveri will participate as an event partner with its artistic mannequins.<\/p>\n This year, the showcase will also feature the collection of a student from the Bachelor in Fashion Design program at Teesside<\/a> University, an academic partner of Ferrari Fashion School.<\/p>\n \u201cImagination must be trained with practice.
