Immersive Workshop in Cinema, Fashion, Design, Communication, and Music.
Creative Experience is a four-day educational program designed for 4th-year high school students who wish to explore and orient themselves toward academic training in the fields of cinema, fashion design, communication, design, and music.
Ferrari Fashion School, together with other institutions of the Plena Education Group, organizes a creativity discovery week in Milan, aimed at exploring different forms of creative expression, developing personal passions and skills, and understanding which academic path is best suited to nurture individual talent.
Students are guided in hands-on experimentation by experienced faculty and professionals from the creative industries through a collaborative workshop, focused on completing a full project. Each student can choose which part of the process to focus on, allowing them to explore one or more areas of study in depth.
Bring a capsule collection to life. Experiment with trends, colors, and fabrics while designing contemporary clothing and accessories. You will learn the fundamentals of fashion design, from creating a moodboard to selecting materials and sketching a mini collection for a specific brand, combining style, sustainability, and innovation. In doing so, you will create your first portfolio.
Each day alternates between lessons and hands-on lab activities, group work, presentations, and discussions with faculty, interspersed with visits to museums, galleries, showrooms, and/or professional studios.
Collaborate to define the store’s visual identity and design a launch campaign that leverages both physical and digital media. You will explore innovative marketing strategies such as guerrilla marketing and social media campaigns.
Create a promotional video and an original soundtrack for the brand. You will explore music and video production techniques, producing the store’s ambient music and recording a launch video. Music students will use DAWs to edit instrumental tracks and produce a final demo.
Design a new model for a brand that will be unveiled on-site. This project will immerse you in the dynamics of a Milanese concept store, encouraging you to design an iconic car that embodies versatility, dynamism, and international appeal.
Design the concept store’s layout and spaces, overseeing every detail from the car display areas to the furnishings and merchandise. Comics students will create illustrated customizations, incorporating unique details into the new exhibition space.
The participation fee for Creative Experience is €50.00, which includes materials and off-site visits.
Participation in Creative Experience may also be recognized as fulfilling the admission interview requirement for the corresponding Bachelor’s program, provided that the student demonstrates—through a final project or an interview with the workshop leaders—that they have acquired the skills necessary for enrollment in the first year of the program.
