Giuseppina Liguori is an Italian fashion designer with a distinguished career in luxury and prêt-à-porter. Born near Salerno and educated at Istituto Marangoni in Milan, she began working in style offices even before graduating in 2004, specializing in high-end collections. Her professional path includes collaborations with Francesco Scognamiglio in couture, Ennio Capasa in menswear, and a long tenure at Etro as Senior Designer, where she oversaw womenswear collections and runway shows.
She later served as Design Director for Rena Lange in Germany, shaping collections celebrated by Vogue Germany. Over the years, her creations have been worn by international stars such as Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé, Cate Blanchett, Madonna, Mick Jagger,Greta Gerwig, Zoe Saldana and featured in leading fashion publications worldwide such as, including Vogue France, Vogue India, Vogue Japan and Vogue Italia.
In 2013, she founded her own design studio, consulting for both luxury and mass-market brands, and in 2015 she launched her silver jewelry brand 6229 Jewels, featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, L’Officiel, GQ,Nylon, Grazia, Flair, Glamour and Paper Magazine and embraced by artists like Nicole Scherzinger and Rose Leslie.
