Catia Vollero is a fashion and visual culture professional with a background in Art History, earned in 1996 at the University of Genoa. After completing a Master’s in Communication and gaining extensive experience in editorial communication and marketing, she worked for major fashion, architecture, and design publications such as Elle, Elle Decor, Abitare, and Case da Abitare, developing a deep understanding of editorial and visual languages.
In 2011, she moved into the fashion field, specializing in pattern making and tailoring. She collaborates on prototyping projects and creates garments in one-off pieces and limited editions, with an approach that combines technical skills, formal research, and cultural sensitivity.
Since 2015, she has been a contract lecturer at the Fashion Design School of Politecnico di Milano and, since 2017, a contract lecturer at NABA Milan. She lives and works in Milan.
