Melania Pirotta

Melania Pirotta, born in 2003 in Treviglio (BG), is a fashion designer who graduated from Ferrari Fashion School with honors. From her earliest studies in the fashion sector, she has cultivated a solid foundation in both sartorial and industrial techniques, later transforming her technical knowledge into a personal creative vision that combines art, cinema, nature, theater, and poetry.

Passionate about upcycling and sustainable fashion, she believes that every forgotten material can tell a new story: through her collections, she gives new life to existing garments and fabrics, transforming them into unique and authentic pieces. Her work values imperfection as a sign of truth and uniqueness, proposing a model of ethical and responsible fashion.

During her time at the Academy, she participated in several projects and collaborations, including Intreccincantiere with Domodossola, Restart, and various runway shows as a wardrobe assistant. Her most significant experience was the internship at Institution by Galib Gasanov, where she oversaw the development of a collection up to its presentation during Milan Fashion Week, handling fitting, casting, and staging.

Today, Melania describes herself as a curious and determined designer, capable of combining traditional sartorial knowledge with a contemporary vision, with particular attention to circular, creative, and sustainable fashion.
