Alberto Manassero

Born in Germany and raised in Italy, Alberto earned a Bachelor’s degree in Product Design from IED Milan in 2016. He gained professional experience at companies such as Driade and Atellani Studio, working on projects spanning furniture, art, and consumer electronics.

In 2022, he completed a Master’s in Food Design & Innovation, focusing on the application of design methodologies to the food system. That same year, he began collaborating with Stefano Citi’s studio TDFK and founded itslasagne, an independent critical research project exploring design through the lens of cooking.

Alongside his practice, he teaches at several Italian institutions, including SPD – Scuola Politecnica di Design, RUFA – Rome University of Fine Arts, IED, and the AMMI Foundation, leading courses and workshops on food design, design methodology, and 3D design. His work is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach that combines experimentation, material culture, and storytelling.
