After last year’s great success, Ferrari Fashion School is proud to present the fashion show “Metaversi”, the result of the creative fusion of twenty-one graduating students from the Fashion Design program.
The show explores timely and relevant themes such as the reclamation of identity, loneliness, chronophobia, the bitterness of memories, and dissociative disorders — all without forgetting the essence of life, which, like a flower, is born, grows, and withers.
Bodies merge with their surroundings. A love and respect for nature inspires an inevitable choice: upcycling, breathing new life into garments through a renewed light.
Crochet is used for accessories that have no negative impact on the environment.
And while self-harm may hide behind garments that scream emotional redemption, life is celebrated through the opulence of sculptural garments which, like in the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi, mend what has been broken by sealing the cracks with gold.
Highlights include the capsule collection “H.O.P.E. 4 LADIES” created in collaboration with Vitale Barberis Canonico 1663.
The fine fabrics of traditional menswear meet the female form, offering it a new identity. Design and tradition merge in a creative alchemy.
