Admissions at Ferrari Fashion School follow a simple, guided procedure designed to assess motivation, aptitude, and the requirements for each program.
The Foundation Year, accredited by RUFA – Rome University of Fine Arts, is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in design or other creative fields, but who may not yet meet the academic requirements for admission to a three-year degree programme.
Applications are open year-round. The course begins online at the end of October and continues in person starting from January.

Applications for Three-Year Courses and Bachelor of Arts are open year-round, with courses starting in October. Candidates are eligible if they have completed a full educational pathway of at least 12 years.
For Bachelor of Arts programmes, an English language certificate is required: IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
An online admission interview is also part of the selection process.
Applications for Master programmes are open year-round. Master courses start in October, while Master of Arts programmes begin in January.
To enrol in a Master programme, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification (or have documented work experience in a related field).
For Master of Arts programmes, candidates are eligible if they hold a degree with a minimum classification of second class (2.2) or above in art, design, or other creative disciplines, obtained within a recognised ISCED Level 6 programme. Graduates from scientific, social science, and humanities backgrounds may also be considered. For Master programmes, candidates with significant professional experience in the chosen field are also accepted.
To enroll in the Professional Courses, candidates must participate in an interview and submit a motivation letter, both of which help assess the candidate’s motivation and suitability for the chosen course.
To enroll in the Fashion Startup Incubator, candidates must hold a high school diploma or a university degree. This course also requires a language proficiency assessment, with a certification equivalent to IELTS 5.5.
Access to our Short and Summer Courses is open to all talents who wish to deepen their skills in the fashion system. No formal selection process is required: enrollment is open, following a non-binding introductory interview.
The requirements vary depending on the program: for Undergraduate and Bachelor’s courses, a high school diploma is required; for Master’s and Master of Arts courses, a university degree is required. Some courses require a portfolio, while others only need strong motivation. All programs include an introductory interview. Please check the dedicated section to review the specific requirements for each course.
The selection process consists of an orientation interview with an Academic Advisor. We assess your motivation, interest in fashion, and, when applicable, your portfolio or personal projects. The goal is to determine whether the chosen course is a good fit for your profile.
Yes. You can submit your application through the official form on the website, selecting the course you are interested in. After submission, you will be contacted to schedule the admission interview, either online or in person.
Admissions remain open until all available places are filled. For annual and three-year courses, most applications are submitted between January and September. For Master’s programs, applications are also accepted from October to December. We recommend applying early to secure your place.
For some courses, yes, it is required(eg. Fashion Design, Styling, Photography), while for other programs, the portfolio is optional or not required. In any case, having a portfolio can strengthen your evaluation during the selection process.
