Fabrics and Fashion Design: The Excellence Behind 026 MEMBRANE

The-Excellence-Behind-026-MEMBRANE

Partnerships with the textile industry enabled Ferrari Fashion School graduating students to create the collections presented at 026 MEMBRANE using high-quality fabrics supplied by some of the leading companies in the sector.

Fashion education reaches its full potential when creativity meets know-how, materials and industry connections.

For 026 MEMBRANE, graduating Fashion Design students developed their final capsule collections using fabrics provided by prestigious Italian and European textile companies.

More than a sponsorship, this collaboration gave students the opportunity to design with high-quality materials and experience the dialogue between designers and suppliers that defines the professional development of a collection.

Textile Partnerships That Enrich Education and Collections

The fabric sponsorship programme developed for 026 MEMBRANE allows students to transform their ideas into collections created to professional standards, working with premium materials.

The collaboration with partner companies was coordinated through the mentors responsible for developing the final collections. Giusy Liguori supervised the Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design, Lika Kubaneishvili the undergraduate course in Fashion Design programme, while Enea Burattoni and Giusy Liguori guided the Master of Arts in Fashion Design & Creative Direction.

Throughout the project, they worked closely with textile expert Fabrizio Flaccomio, Senior Designer and Textile Researcher at Prada, who supported students in selecting the most suitable materials for their collections.

FAQ About Fabrics, Fashion Design and 026 MEMBRANE
