Fashion Graduate Italia 2018

Date

26/10/2018

The second edition of Fashion Graduate Italia 2018 has just concluded at Spazio Base Milano: a rich program of fashion shows, events, in-depth discussions, workshops, exhibitions, and networking moments with key players in the industry.

The event, organized by Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda, has become a sort of open fashion week dedicated to emerging young designers and to the city of Milan, as well as to fashion professionals in search of new talent.

During this week, our young students had the opportunity to showcase their collections on the runway and in static exhibitions, before an attentive and engaged audience from all over Italy and abroad.

Thanks to the support of Regione Lombardia, the City of Milan, Banca Intesa Sanpaolo, and Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda, the event once again proved to be an important showcase for our students, who were able to take part not only in the fashion show but also in talks, workshops, and meetings with professionals from the worlds of fashion and design.

Some of them were selected for the Portfolio Review, held in the presence of Sara Sozzani Maino from Vogue Talents and Mariasole Pastori from Eyes of Talent. They had the privilege of presenting their projects and receiving valuable advice for their future professional careers.

During the Job Speed Date, which concluded the week of events, the top selected students from Ferrari Fashion School had the opportunity to meet major Fashion and Luxury brands, submit their applications, and take part in job interviews, thanks to the numerous opportunities made possible by the collaboration and support of Confindustria Moda and Sistema Moda Italia.

Ferrari Fashion School actively contributed to the event by organizing and leading a Stylist Experience 2.0 Workshop, aimed at young students from all over Italy, with the goal of introducing them to the fascinating world of Fashion Magazines, Fashion Communication, and Social Stylist Influencers.

The common thread of the workshop was experimentation — a theoretical and commercial analysis of Fashion Style Trends designed to highlight the creativity and everyday life of the modern fashion addicted.

It was an important experience that allowed students to immerse themselves in the fabric of this world, in search of new ideas and inspiration.
