On the Red Carpet, the parade of haute couture dresses inspired by the iconic fairies, created by the students of the Ferrari Fashion School to celebrate 18 years of Winx Club.
High fashion meets the world of magic thanks to the Winx: after Milan Fashion Week, on October 20th, the most famous fairies of the small screen, the flagship of Made in Italy throughout the world, landed on the red carpet of the highly anticipated Rome Film Fest, this year in its 17th edition. For the first time, the six haute couture dresses inspired by each individual Winx were on the catwalk, created thanks to the extraordinary collaboration that featured Ferrari Fashion School students, supported by the young twin designers of the Feleppa brand, Francesca and Veronica Feleppa, for the special occasion of Winx Club’s 18th anniversary.
Accompanying the exquisite outfits on the red carpet at the Film Fest was the Winx “father” himself, Iginio Straffi: “I’m truly thrilled to celebrate my fairies’ first 18 years with so many extraordinary initiatives like this one, and with such a close-knit and diverse audience, which has demonstrated year after year the brand’s ability to break down barriers and become the voice of many people’s dreams. The Winx have managed to fly so far thanks to a passionate and loyal global fan community, to whom we are immensely grateful and to whom we will dedicate many exciting new developments in the future.”
The winning students distinguished themselves throughout the training program, fully capturing the soul and personality of the Winx and translating them into truly magical outfits. Vittorio Alessi and Miriam Pellegrin are the stylists who created the outfits for Tecna, Musa, and Bloom. Valentina Lacatena, Marika Caramia, and Rosalba Andolfi are the creators of Aisha’s style, while Stella and Flora were designed by Giada Dei Giudici.
