The Master in Fashion Styling and Art Direction is an advanced programme designed to provide comprehensive training for those wishing to specialise in styling, creative direction, and visual communication, enhanced by the cultural and professional network of Milan. The programme stands out for its strong project-based and hands-on approach: students take part in 7 photo shoots and 1 fashion film, working on real sets and gaining direct experience of industry dynamics, in synergy with students from the Master in Fashion Photography and Film.

The Master works in close synergy with the Fashion Photography and Fashion Film programme, simulating real production environments: students collaborate on shared sets, developing complete projects where photography, styling, and creative direction integrate into a unified visual outcome.
The Master in Fashion Styling and Art Direction is designed to train well-rounded professionals capable of combining visual culture, creative design, and operational skills.
The programme alternates theoretical modules – such as Fashion Authors Analysis, Fashion System, Fashion Culture, and Trend and Visual Analysis – with project-based modules, including Styling and Creative Direction, Graphic for Fashion, and Visual Communication Design, aimed at developing a coherent and professional visual language.
The practical component is central: project work includes 7 professional photo shoots and 1 Fashion Film project, through which students work on real sets, engaging with all production phases, from concept development to final execution.
The programme is further enriched by External Visits and Guest Talks, connecting academic training with the professional industry and offering direct insight into the fashion sector.

The Master is designed for those aiming to specialise in fashion styling, creative direction, and visual storytelling, with academic or professional background in fashion or design. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have basic knowledge of graphic software, and provide a portfolio (if available).
Students learn to master fashion styling, visual narrative, concept design, and fashion multimedia, developing skills to direct photo shoots, create visual communication strategies, and build a competitive portfolio for the international fashion industry.
The programme integrates theoretical lectures, practical workshops, studio sessions, photo shoots, and guided visits to key industry events such as Milan Fashion Week and Fuorisalone. It follows a hands-on approach focused on developing real, industry-relevant projects.
