On May 11th, 2025, the Fashion Styling and Communication students from Ferrari Fashion School took part in a Creative Workshop with Agglomerati, held during the Golden Goose | Haus Week.
An immersive, experimental, and inspiring experience, the workshop allowed them to engage directly with the artistic vision of Agglomerati, guided by its founder Francesco Casarotto.
From Styling to Sculpture: Francesco Casarotto’s Journey
The workshop opened with Francesco Casarotto sharing his personal and professional journey — from his early career as a stylist, a job that never fully satisfied him, to the creation of Agglomerati, born during the pandemic as a form of self-expression.
Initially a personal creative outlet, his mask-making project quickly evolved into a brand, attracting the attention of stylists and fashion professionals intrigued by his masks made from repurposed materials.
From Words to Materials: Hands-on creativity inside the Golden Goose Haus
Following the introduction, the students moved into Golden Goose’s creative workspace, where the brand’s sneakers are usually hand-customized and crafted.
Each student received a polystyrene head base and a variety of materials from the Golden Goose archive: rhinestones, patches, studs, pins, old soles, leather scraps, fabrics, tulle, and other unique remnants collected over time.
Guided by the creative team and Francesco himself, the students began crafting their own masks, exploring forms, textures, and symbols. One student shared her inspiration: the iconic Golden Goose star. Working with leather and tulle, she imagined a galactic-style mask — “Instead of having my head in the clouds, I wanted to create a ‘head in the stars.’”
A Living and Evolving Archive
Once completed, each mask was photographed and left on-site to be added to Golden Goose’s creative archive — becoming part of a constantly evolving body of work and a symbol of the collaboration between emerging talents and a brand known for its artisanal approach and innovative spirit.
A Day of Experimentation, Art, and Storytelling
The workshop concluded with a guided tour of the ongoing exhibition, where the students explored multisensory installations and cinematic references that enriched the narrative universe of both Golden Goose and Agglomerati.
It was a one-of-a-kind experience centered on expressive freedom, identity, and transformation — leaving each student with new inspirations and ideas to carry forward in their creative journey.
