Ferrari Fashion School at Fashion Graduate Italia 2026: Where Emerging Talent Meets the Fashion Industry

Twelve emerging designers on the runway, more than twenty textile and manufacturing partners, and a collaboration with 4Waves® taking centre stage in the exhibition area. From 27 to 29 October, Ferrari Fashion School participated in Fashion Graduate Italia 2026 at BASE Milano, showcasing the creativity and talent of its students.

026 MEMBRANE: Twelve Designers, Twelve Visions of Contemporary Fashion

On 29 October 2026, Fashion Graduate Italia, an event dedicated to fashion education and emerging creative talent, hosted Ferrari Fashion School’s 026 MEMBRANE fashion show.

Held at BASE Milano, located at Via Tortona 54 in Milan, the runway presentation featured twelve emerging designers selected from the School’s undergraduate Fashion Design programmes and its Master of Arts in Fashion Design & Creative Direction.

The collections were presented to an audience of fashion professionals, industry representatives, companies and fashion enthusiasts.

The twelve designers taking part in the show were Eleonora Arrivabene, Sabrina Calò, Elena Giacomelli, Elena Ndreu, Ottilia Paesani, Dumitrita Prepelita, Isabela Roa Salazar, Ilenia Rossi Varettini, Michalina Sztuka, Aiana Tolobaeva, Lara Vallone and Tosca Wiedmann.

Developed under the guidance of lecturers Giusy Liguori and Lika Kubaneishvili, the twelve collections were selected by a jury of industry professionals during the School’s end-of-year Showcase.

Each designer offered a personal interpretation of the theme MEMBRANE, exploring the relationships between body and environment, identity and belonging, memory and transformation.

From material experimentation and innovative garment construction to the reinterpretation of cultural traditions and reflections on social conventions, each collection expressed a distinctive perspective on contemporary fashion.

From Concept to Runway: Fashion Education Shaped by Industry Experience

Behind every collection presented at Fashion Graduate Italia lies a process of research, design development and experimentation involving students, lecturers, industry professionals and companies.

Developing a fashion collection is an experience that reflects the working practices of a professional fashion design studio: from defining the creative concept and sourcing materials to pattern development, prototyping, garment production and final presentation.

Lecturers and industry professionals play an essential role throughout this process, supporting students as they refine their ideas and explore the technical possibilities, production methods and practical constraints involved in bringing a collection to life.

Hands-on experimentation becomes closely connected to creative research, while ongoing dialogue with industry professionals enables emerging designers to strengthen their creative, technical and organisational skills.

Completing the runway’s creative narrative, the soundtrack was composed by Federica Ferracuti, a student at Saint Louis College of Music, bringing the show’s identity to life through music.

The Value of Made in Italy: Textile Manufacturers and Atelier Partners

Italian textile manufacturers, specialised workshops and ateliers played a key role in the development of the collections, contributing materials, technical expertise and specialist knowledge.

The companies and creative partners involved included Al.Ma. Tissues, Andrea Ya’aqov, Berto Industrie Tessili, Borghi 1819, Centro Seta, Clerici, Gruppo Cinque / Swing, La Rosa dei Venti, Lanificio Moessmer, Lanificio Paoletti, Limonta, Luxury Jersey, Lyria, MAM – Maglificio Alto Milanese, Microtex, Olmetex, Studio Cernigliaro, Studio Molinari, Studio Penta, Studio Troiani and Tessilbiella.

Together, these companies represent the diversity and expertise of the Italian fashion supply chain, from textile research and specialised manufacturing processes to innovative materials and traditional craftsmanship.

Working directly with these industry partners allowed students to explore fabrics, technologies and production techniques, transforming creative experimentation into tangible, technically feasible fashion projects.

Ferrari Fashion School at Fashion Graduate Italia: Showcasing Creative Projects and Industry Collaborations

Alongside the runway show, Ferrari Fashion School participated in Fashion Graduate Italia 2026 with an exhibition space open from 27 to 29 October.

The exhibition featured Soft Boundaries, a collection developed for 4Waves®, a creative laboratory founded by Oliver Zuegel and dedicated to innovation in the watersports industry.

The project brought together three Fashion Design alumnae, Jessica Molino, Sara Maria Narzisi and Melania Pirotta, under the supervision of lecturer Lika Kubaneishvili, with support from Martino Fois and Marilù Liuzzi during the prototyping process.

Exploring a new approach to urban and sportswear, the collection combines modularity, versatility and material research, positioning collaboration between fashion education and industry as a space for applied experimentation.

The project demonstrates how the skills acquired during an academic journey can evolve into professional collaborations and new career opportunities for graduates.

Nurturing Fashion Talent Means Building Connections

Ferrari Fashion School’s participation in Fashion Graduate Italia 2026 marked an important moment for the Milan-based fashion education institution, located in one of the world’s leading international centres for fashion and design.

From the runway to the exhibition space, the projects presented reflected an educational approach in which creativity, experimentation and professional expertise develop through continuous engagement with the fashion industry.
